What the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association says about Mr. Quigley's Photography

Mr. Mark Quigley is our official CMSA photographer. He travels to Cowboy Action Shooting events around the country and photographs them for magazines, the participants as well as the event organizers. He sells his photographs and prints them on-site for participants who would like an unique action image of themselves shooting. Mark can even put you on the cover of the Wheaties box the breakfast of champions. He sells pictures of participants on wanted posters, coffee cups and much more. His prints range in sizes from 5” by 7” to 20” by 30”. Mark also photographs for Shoot! Magazine, and others. He participates in ground and mounted shooting and enjoys the sport.

Mark has always had an interest in photography and self-taught himself as a child, and in the early 1970s became very serious about his work. His photographs have appeared in various publications all over the United States as well as calendars. Mark has always specialized in action and unique portraits of people in the outdoors, wildlife, landscape photography. After the Quigley Down Under movie, by the way one of the best westerns ever made, Mark changed his company's name to Mr. Quigley Photography. His company slogan is: “We never miss the longshots”. He uses three different types of photography formats, 35mm, medium format (6x7 cm) and digital. His photographs are sharp, colorful and Mark has an unusual knack for capturing on film - moments that will astound you. To quote Randy Gunn the Pistol Packing Preacher "your ability to take an action shot is unsurpassed. The professional action shooting you do exceeds anything I've ever seen. Thanks again for helping us with promotional shots of superb quality". When Mark photographs a Cowboy Mounted Shooting event he presents a slide show of that days action at the barbecues or get-togethers. This has proved to be a fun time as well as educational as everyone gathers around to see pictures of themselves from that day. Shooters laugh at themselves and poke fun at each other.

Mr. Quigley was born and raised on a ranch in the deserts of Arizona. He has been married to his wife Mary for more than 21 years and they live in a log home that he built in the Bradshaw Mountains outside of Prescott Arizona. Mark and Mary have horses and enjoy riding, gardening, fly fishing, shooting sports and church.

If you're looking for a way to promote your event and make it even more fun for your participants invite Mr. Quigley Photography to your next shoot.
